In the rural village of Busubi, Uganda, there is a need for community.
Children play soccer with plastic bags. Girls fetch water instead of going to school. Domestic violence runs rife.
The learning and community centre we are building will facilitate sporting activities, women’s and men’s groups, classes on health and hygiene, agriculture and provide guidance and counselling for those in need.
A partnership with a local university will see the centre fully accredited to teach Kindergarten teachers in 2018, making it a completely self-sustaining venture.
